FREQUENCIES: Fenway is a community-powered audio/visual mural by by Maria Finkelmeier and Allison Tanenhaus of MFDynamics.
FREQUENCIES: Fenway is produced in partnership with the Fenway Alliance and Fenway Community Center and funded in part by the City of Boston Neighborhood and Downtown Activation Grant. FREQUENCIES: Fenway popped up around the Fenway in October of 2025 bringing community together in iconic locations in the Fenway including New Edgerly Plaza; MFA, Boston; Queensbury Laundromat; and a final celebration at Cisco Brewers. Thank you to all our participants, partners, collaborators, and the entire Fenway for this community-powered art & visual mural.
What’s the frequency of your neighborhood? What’s your daily rhythm? Are we all on the same wavelength, living in sync in the places we call home?
FREQUENCIES, by Maria Finkelmeier and Allison Tanenhaus, will explore these themes in a vibrant, large-scale video display at a number of pop-ups throughout the Fenway neighborhoods (see flyer above for dates and locations), culminating in a final celebration and event at Cisco's Brewery, 1301 Bolyston Street, Fenway, on October 23rd, 2025.
