Emmanuel College, founded in 1919, prepares men and women with the skills to succeed in tomorrow's world and the social conscience to make a difference in that world.

A liberal arts and sciences education, shaped by a Catholic heritage, and a strong career development and internship program define the Emmanuel College experience. At Emmanuel, students become engaged learners in small interactive classes and develop leadership skills through participation in campus life. The city of Boston provides an extended classroom, opportunities for community service and exciting internships with the city’s most prestigious leading-edge employers.

Supporting the College’s mission, the newly constructed Jean
Yawkey Center provides athletic, recreational and dining facilities, and
houses the Jean R.Yawkey Center for Community Leadership. This center
focuses on developing service and leadership skills for Emmanuel students
and building connections with the young people of the city of Boston
through after-school and summer programs.
