NEC presents more than 600 free concerts each year in its fabled Jordan
Hall (in photo at left), which celebrated its 100th birthday in 2003,
as well as in smaller, more intimate venues on campus. From classical
to jazz to world musics, NEC presents a wide range of student, faculty

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Music has played an important role at the Gardner Museum since its opening
nearly a century ago. Isabella Stewart Gardner frequently hosted concerts
at the Museum and made the Gardner a meeting place for musicians from
Boston and around the world. Today, the Museums musical tradition
continues with classical and jazz concerts in the Tapestry Room on Saturdays
