October - Columbus Day
The Fenway Cultural District's annual signature
event is unlike anything else in town! With more than a dozen of Boston's
best cultural and educational institutions swinging their doors wide OPEN
for a fabulous array of free concerts, exhibitions, behind-the-scenes
tours, lectures and so much more! Please join members of The Fenway Alliance
along with friends and neighbors to celebrate the artistic and cultural
treasures that are the Fenway Cultural District on Opening Our Doors!,

Summer
SOULstice at The Mary Baker Eddy Library
Summer SOULstice® provides the children of Boston
with an interactive and enriching program of storytelling, dance, music
and art. Free for the whole family, each program is followed by fun in
the fountain. Programs are held June, July and August, every Tuesday at
11:00 am on the Christian Science Plaza (next to the Prudential Center).

Northeastern University Center for the Arts
August
The NU Center for the Arts provides support for the arts as an enrichment
to Northeastern University and the surrounding community. Together with
the departments of African-American Studies, Art and Architecture, English,
Music, and Theatre, the Center encourages students in becoming knowledgeable,
discriminating, and active participants in the arts. Annually, the Center
for the Arts, in collaboration with ACT Roxbury, hosts a cross-cultural
arts festival highlighting music, dance, art, theatre, poetry and film.

A Feast of Music
New England Conservatory of Music
New England Conservatory's A Feast of Music is a black-tie fundraising
gala that pairs exquisite flavors with exceptional musical virtuosity
in Boston's opulent Copley Plaza Ballroom. All proceeds benefit scholarship
support for NEC. For more information, please contact NEC's Director of

New England Conservatory's annual spring festival, each year on a different
theme, features performances by a wide range of students, faculty and
alumni from the NEC community, with guest musicians and musicologists.
Past Festival themes have included "Shakespeare in Music," "Musical
Boston in the 1890's" and "Musical Boston in the 1990's."
